Petitgrain bigarade essential oil helps with mental exhaustion and stress-induced conditions, especially anger and panic, and helps to calm a rapid heartbeat. The sweet and bitter smell of petitgrain is used by young and old people to help with mood swings.
It acts as an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic: Keeps wounds clean while they go through the healing process.
Relaxes muscles: Thanks to the large amount of linalyl acetate, it helps with muscle relaxation.
Nourishes skin and hair: One of the most valuable properties of petitgrain essential oil is its balancing and toning effect on oily skin and hair. It does not cause hypersensitivity and is not a phototoxic essential oil, therefore it is often used in cosmetic preparations, especially for oily or acne-prone skin, and for mixed or oily hair. It restores, regenerates and revitalizes the skin.
Blends well with: rosemary, lavender, geranium, palmarosa, ylang ylang and other citrus essential oils.
