Lavender Maillette Organic

Help with insect bites 

Anoint the bite site with one drop of pure lavender essential oil. After the essential oil has been absorbed into the skin, rub in a drop of essential oil again, let the skin absorb it, and repeat the process again up to a total of 5 drops. For sensitive skin, you can add lavender essential oil to the carrier oil and apply it to the puncture site.

Relaxing and soothing diffuser blend

Add 3 drops of lavender Maillette, 1 drop of litsea and 5 drops of tagerine to your diffuser.

Headache remedy

Use 5 drops of Lavender Maillette, 3 drops of basil, 3 drops of peppermint and 25 ml of carrier oil. Mix the ingredients in a 30 ml bottle and apply to the temples when needed.

Description

Relieves nervousness and calms agitated emotions: Lavender essential oil has properties that make it effective in balancing emotions and in extreme emotional states such as shock, anger, panic, nervousness, stress, fear, frustration, jealousy and impatience. Its fresh, positive scent encourages release from compulsive behaviour.

Relieves itching and inflammatory reactions after insect bites: Lavender essential oil has a very wide range of uses and is mild enough to be applied directly to the skin in small quantities. This makes it useful in treating insect bites, minor skin injuries and blisters. As an antiseptic, it is used for acne, sores, cuts, ulcers, colds, flu and various other infections.

Spasmolytic and analgesic action: Helps relieve all types of muscle spasms. It reduces inflammation, so it is used for sore muscles. Its soothing properties are good for relieving premenstrual syndrome, for insomnia and for generally improving sleep.

Strengthens the immune system: It prevents colds, it is even effective against certain bacteria. In combination with thyme and clove bud, it is useful in the treatment of herpes.

Natural analgesic: Helps with headaches caused by sinus inflammation.

Regenerates the skin: Lavender oil has regenerative properties, which makes it very good for treating burns. For this reason, it is also preferred in cosmetic preparations for skin renewal, especially for treating dry and irritated parts of the skin.

Blends well with: geranium, peppermint, mandarin, clove, clary sage, bergamot, lemon, thyme, ylang ylang, marjoram, pine, rosemary, cedar and immortelle.
